- favorite phrase - "that's right!" "I'm hon-gry" "I'm really hon-gry" "That's enough" "Cut it Out"
- favorite songs- if you're happy and you know it, wheels on the bus, bye oh baby buntin, oh and we can't forget itsy bitsy spider! But most of all is the song that him and his daddy sing at night before bed called may it be...
- Weighs - 32 lbs
- Height - 37 inches
- Hair - Still a blond "cottontop" as everyone that sees him refers to him.
- We are still potty training -- he's very stubborn but doing great!! We still have a few accidents but I think that's normal. He will work for M&Ms. :)
- Weird fact - he's seeing numbers and words backwards. I've talked to both his therapists who are closing him out at the end of this month about it and right now it isn't something too concerning. We also are contributing it to his brain being a sponge and how he LOVES to identify everything and for some reason he's doing it from right to left. We're going to watch it to see if it changes. When we try to tell him "good job but how about read it the other way?" He'll respond with "No mama! Not right!" Again, he's stubborn and doesn't like to be told he's not right.
- 3T/4T clothes
- Shoe size - 8
- Needs a haircut once a month
- LOVES bathtime
- Is ALL boy...he loves the dirt...digging in it...rolling in it...throwing it all over him.
- He must be just like me b/c mosquitoes or as he calls them "skeeto" bites are always on his legs.
- He is LOVING our nightly walks with Miller (aka Beeka Ba)
- Couldn't live without his "teddy", "banket", or "pillyo" (pillow) mostly referring to his pillowpet.
- Enjoys Tumblebus every Thursday at daycare. He can do an awesome forward roll with great form! He gets a medal at the end of summer session.
- Enjoys daycare in the summer especially on Thursdays when the ice cream man stops by. He has been enjoying the snow cones lately.
- When we go through the Sonic drive through for dessert, Baker asks for "Ice Ream!, Ice Ream!"
- Favorite Show - Still Caillou although he now likes some Nick Jr. shows like Team Umizoomi and Bubble Guppies.
- My favorite time of the day with him is early in the morning becuase he's really cuddly and sweet from just waking up or putting him down for bed in the evening. We have a routine and he knows we brush teeth, potty, change into jammies, read a little from his toddler bible, say our prayers, and sing a song. G and I both participate in his nightly bed down.
- Lately, he's been waking up the middle of the night. He says he's hungry but then doesn't drink much. Hopefully this is just a bad thing that will pass -- we need our sleep!
- He knows his ABCs really well. He can count to 20 in english and from 1-10 in Spanish.
- Loves to color, organize his toys, and play with his basketball, baseball, or any type of ball toy for that matter. He's got a throwing arm!
- He loves it when we sit at the dinner table and all have our drinks in our hands. He looks over at us and says "CHEERS!" We clink our cups and sip our drinks. It's so cute!!
You're 2.5 years old big boy...you are challenging for us and test our patience all the time but we wouldn't change anything in the world as you're as sweet as a button when you come up to us and cuddle, say I love you just because you want to, and perch your lips together for a big kiss. We love you so much and can't wait to see what the rest of this year has in store before you as we near the milestone of the big year 3! You're a blessing and we can't imagine life without you! You're going to be the best big brother around.
