Moore Happenings - 9 Months of Fun

A lot has been going on here this month.  Preston's official countdown to his 1st birthday has begun.  I can't believe its already only 3 months away.  Time is absolutely in fast forward these days.  Here's a milestone update and a bunch of pictures to capture what we've been up to lately...

9 Month Milestones

  • 6 oz breastmilk every 3 hours.  I'm supplementing with Enfamil formula some.  I'm trying to keep pumping until he's one and only giving him formula when I'm out of town or don't have enough. I am SO proud of myself.  Never ever ever did I think I would be able to pump this long.  It is quite an accomplishment.  :)
  • He loves his homemade baby food!  We were actually in a pinch one day and tried to give him some jar food because we didn't have any of ours from home and he wouldn't touch it.  We have a picky eater on our hands...he knows the good stuff!
  • New foods - lots of fun fun meat/veggie combos.  These days I usually just mash/puree whatever we have for dinner...makes it easy!
  • Introducing table food but Preston is accepting that very slowly.  First real people food was pancakes and while he liked it a lot he still gagged. I think its a textures thing.  He recently snatched a bite of Gordie's pickle and loved it.  I think this boy loves salty foods. Baker has the sweet tooth of the two.
  • Size 3 diapers--We are now using Luvs.
  • 19 lbs 4 oz
  • 90% for height.  He's already 1/2 inch longer than Baker was at this age
  • His clothing size is all over the place from 6M to 12M.  The way baby clothes are made its quite ridiculous.  P actually fits in a Fruit of the Loom 3T white tshirt.  Crazy huh?  It is supposed to be for Baker but we can't even get his arms in it.
Baker Milestones
  • He is SO tall these days--he's been recently complaining about leg and hip pain.  I think we are dealing with some growing pains!
  • Weighing in at 36 lbs
  • Has terrible allergies.  Still taking zyrtec on a daily basis and benedryl at times.
  • Loves his stickers, cars, blankies, ovalhead, cow, and tweet tweet.
  • We are 100% out of pull ups at night.  For the most part he's doing great wearing underpants to bed but we still do have the occasional night time accident.  If he does have an accident, he'll come to me in the morning and tell me he's sooo sweaty.  Then he'll be upset and say it's okay mommy, I'll clean it up.  Sweet boy!!!
  • He thinks being a big brother is the most awesome thing...ever.
  • He loves to make Preston laugh in the car [I secretly love hearing them in the front seat--makes me smile from ear to ear]
