Preston got tubes today! We had to be at the surgery center at 7AM and by 840AM we were already on our way home. They were super quick, efficient, and much easier than the last time we went through tubes. When Baker got them we were in Utah at the Primary Childrens Hospital which I guess getting out of an outpatient procedure at a hospital is more cumbersome than a surgical center. Turns out Preston had a whopping DOUBLE ear infection so the dr. had to do a little cleaning out his ears prior to putting in his tubes. We left with a cranky baby, antibiotics, and ear drops. Hopefully these tubes fix his issues like they did for Baker. Fingers crossed! He was back to himself in a matter of hours. Crawling, playing, eating, drinking, etc. I can tell that he definitely hears us better as he's responding to us faster when we call his name, he always babbled but he's babbling more, and well he's always been crawling tons and standing everywhere so maybe this will help him move towards taking steps?! I don't know if I'm ready for that yet...it'll be very soon though.
