37 Weeks!

We had our weekly dr. appt yesterday! I was a day short of 37 weeks so technically if he was born now he would be considered "full term", woohoo! I gained 1 lb since last week and this time the baby is still in a head down position but he was so far down now that it was really hard to measure his head to get a good size estimate. She said his head is still tucked in so he is definitely ready to go. She is estimating him now to be around 6 lbs so he gained 1/2 lb since last week. I am 1 cm dilated so that is a little progress!

My Dr. gave me a note to turn into my work for my short term disability so hopefully I can get that rolling soon. I have 1 more week left at work and plan to use this upcoming week to get my paperwork completed for my disability. I am going to let my replacement at work take the reigns and sit by herself! I had been sitting with her but this week I am going to hide somewhere else in the office and do somethings I need to get done and see how she does! I just can't believe time has gone by so fast. We have 20 days until baby baker should be here! I am feeling great and even though I am not getting much sleep at night I surprisingly am functioning like normal at work all day and feeling good. I have uncomfortable moments and even days but taking a walk outside around the building or walking around in the office helps.

Our next visit is Friday, 20 Nov at 2:30 so we'll see how he looks at Week 38! I am getting to the point now where any day could potentially be the day so we'll see. Gordie and Tim still think he'll be here the last week in November so we'll see if they are right!
