Jamaica - Ya Mon!

As I mentioned before, Gordie surprised me with a trip to Jamaica for our 4 year anniversary! We were SO excited about the trip and couldn't wait for it to get here. We were able to make it over the MLK weekend so I only had to take 2 days off of work for our 4 day vacation! Neither of us had been on a real "vacation" in years! We were PUMPED to say the least. While we lived in Utah, all of our vacations consisted of coming back home to SC to visit family and while that is still a vacation away from work...it wasn't necessarily a laid back all about us vacation. This was finally our laid back do whatever we want vacation/honeymoon we never got!

I think I had a list and suitcase/car full packed more for Baker going to my parents house for 6 nights than we had packed up for us for vacation but you know me...I had extra clothes and lots of just in case items for him for Nana and Poppy's house.

Here's a picture dump of our trip. We HIGHLY suggest anyone needing an escape to go to Negril Jamaica and go to the Couples Swept Away resort. We had the BEST time and it honestly was a great resort with good food, wonderful views, fun things to do, and most of all great hospitality!

Despite the AC thing almost looking like it is falling off the wall. It was a GREAT room with the decor really showing Jamaican roots with all the wood panels.
