5 months Recap

I'm 5 Months!

Good Grief! Where does the time go?  I barely have time these days to keep the house clean let alone post on here.  I've neglected posting lately because life has just been pulling us 20 different ways and by time we get home from work and get settled doing our usual nightly routine its nearly 11PM before we "sit" down.  Preston is a growing boy! His fun personality is blossoming.  He is still the happiest baby on the block--always smiling. His nickname at school is "Sweet P" We've had quite the month outlined by some awesome milestones below...

  • Wearing 3-6 month clothes
  • Eating 6 oz breastmilk every 3-4 hours (you never miss a meal)
  • You hold your bottle...sometimes (when you feel like it) but you're getting better!
  • Yes, I am still pumping!!  I cannot believe that I've lasted this long.  I'm so proud of myself!! It isn't easy to be a working momma and continue to provide using the pump. I wasn't able to keep up with it this long with Baker so I'm trying super hard for you.
  • You hold yourself overnight typically 10-12 hours until your morning bottle
  • Your first tooth came in! (May 16th)
  • You love to roll ALL over the place.
  • You're arching up on your hands so high during tummy time
  • You roll around a lot in your crib but you love to fall asleep on your side in your crib at night
  • You're still sleeping in your crib in Mommy & Daddy's room [we just haven't come to terms with the idea of you being in another room just yet]
  • You like the paci when your teething/falling asleep.  It doesnt stay in long.
  • You LOVE the monkey dream light in the room that puts lights on the ceiling
  • You're such a great sleeper.  Typically from 8-645/7AM.
  • You started blowing raspberries and its so cute because sometimes you stick your tongue out in the process
  • You think your brother, Baker, is hilarious!
  • You guys babytalk in the backseat and you just smile so big when he talks to you
  • You're holding/grasping onto things and passing it between your hands
  • You're still a fan of bath time.  I know Baker is looking forward to the days you two can share a bath

It has started!  Getting into things.
