Let It Snow!

It seemed as if the good ole meteorologists on television were getting it wrong.  The white stuff was supposed to start at 8, then noon, then 3, then 5, then 7...then it finally came! What started off as freezing rain and sleet turned into full blown snow around 8pm.  Baker waited up to see the snow and boy did his eyes light up like it was Christmas. He couldn't wait to get up in the morning and go out and play.  We had no idea how much we were going to get so he was so anxious to go to bed.

Preston woke us all up around 8AM.  Not too shabby right??  It's been an awesome snow day.  Baker loved it and never wanted to come in and Preston hated it.  I couldn't even get him to stand in it.  You'd think it was grass or something! ;P

Here's some fun pictures to capture our snow day:

Home Sweet Home!
Did it really snow? What's snow?
Mama and Preston with his fav ball
Mama & Baker (he loved wearing my scarf)
All he did was stare at it
He had fun when I pulled him around in a storage bin. I knew it would be useful for something!
& Just like that I stop for a picture and he's angry.  Love this picture of them though
SNOW CREAM!

making a snowman...the snow was very fluffy so made it a little hard since it wouldn't stick together
My other main squeeze with no mittens so we improvised with socks! it worked.
He loved it for 2.5 seconds.
Here his hands got wet and he was not pleased. flashbacks of Baker circa 2010/2011.

Baker's OMG face.
He said "Today was supposed to be scarf day at school and here we are in the snow wearing a scarf just at home. Take a picture so Mrs. Barton can see!
Operation Snowman = Success
Several trips outside to play and he still doesn't want to come in

Let's give a snowy shout out to my Brother in Law/the boys Uncle Gray.  Today is his 32nd birthday.  Happy Birthday Gray!
