holding his ba ba

He is getting SO good at tummy time and actually LOVES it now. He rolls around a lot but only from back to tummy. He has yet to get solid on rolling from his tummy to his back. We are working on that one! We had a conference with his room today at daycare. Since he is approaching 6 months, he will be moving to the next infant room which is 6 to 12 months. We are excited about the upcoming development that is going to take place and the new people and babies he will be with but we are REALLY going to miss his friends and teachers in his current room. They all love him so much! We found out today that his cognitive, social, emotional, and physical areas are all on target and beyond for his age. We also found out that he has a best buddy, William. Apparently they are around the same age and development stage so they just love to sit and lie next to each other. We were told today that William cries when Baker moves to another station, goes to get changed, fed, or lie down for a nap because he can't hang out with his pal! I'll definitely get a picture of the two of them together before he moves rooms. We were very happy with what his teachers had to say and they even said he listens to their conversations when they talk moving his head from person to person as they talk acting like he is paying attention and trying to understand or be included! hahah He does that at home too so it was a riot to hear him doing that there.
4 days until we leave for SC!!! Oh the excitement is just building up in all of us! We have a TON of stuff to do before then so heaven help me keep it all together!
- laundry
- find our suitcases
- pack
- get our carry on bags together
- get all baby items in one place and gather enough items while we are in transit
- ensure we have the stroller
- register miller with the county as we never knew we should have done that like 3 years ago
- get miller's stuff together and drop him off at daycare for while we are gone
- arrange for someone to come to the house to take care of freida while we are gone
- clean & vacuum the house
- Most importantly, not get a headache on Monday so that I can get everything done and not leave anything behind! Goal - be 100% prepared and not rushed. I am determined not to let the airport security get me flustered. We are going to have a TON of more stuff than usual and I always feel so rushed going through but I am determined to not let it get the best of me!!
We can't wait to see you guys!
