Gordie had a training class on base this morning at 7:00AM so he had to get up early (at 5:30AM) with me. Neither of us felt like budging this morning so it wasn't easy. I got Baker ready looking mighty cute in a bright green dinosaur onesie and jeans with his gamecock socks (Thanks Aunt Ash!) and put him in his carseat so daddy could get out the door on time by 6:25AM to have enough time to drop Baker off and get to class. Little did we know that a smelly event was about to stop him from leaving on time. Baker starts grunting really hard and boy did the stink follow! I thought the poor boy had some terrible gas or a majorly STINKY diaper. So I unbuckle him from his carseat and move the blanket that was over his lap and the stench prevailed. We had a blowout and I'm talking all throughout the diaper and up the back, all over his jeans and onesie, but luckily his socks were spared. We had to franticly grab a new set of clothes, redress him, and get him back in his seat all in the matter of minutes so that Gordie wouldn't be late. Phew! What a morning! :) Thank you Omnicef for making our morning memorable!
*Omnicef is his antibiotic for his ear infections that also turn his poo a maroon color which really freaks me out. It is never a good feeling to see red poo. ughh! :)
Happy Cinco de Mayo!
