Baker is back at daycare today. He was at home on Thursday and Friday due to a bad cough. After a 3 hr wait at the urgent care on Friday night, we found out that he wasn't 100% due to an ear infection in his R ear and the drainage was making him cough. The Dr couldn't see his tube in that ear so we are going to get him to an ENT for a follow up. Poor guy. Just 3 days in daycare and already an ear infection - BOO! He's doing much better today so I dropped him off so I could get some errands done (i.e. get my tires rotated & aligned but I won't go into that story!) I had a lunch date with Gordie today too! I met him over in the NE at work so I could at least SEE him today. He is working a 13 hour day today. Phew, that makes me tired just thinking about it but it's time to do inventory at the store so they are staying late tonight to get it done. While we were out to lunch the tire place called to say my car was ready so I was back off to Irmo to get my dad and pick up my car. We then made a stop at Lowe's and then it was time to pick up Baker! It gave my dad a chance to see the facility and meet some of the staff there. It was so cute! We opened the door slowly and it was afternoon snack time and all the toddlers were sitting in their chairs around the table and we saw Baker sitting down chugging his sippy cup of water or juice. :) We walked in and he looked over but didn't see us right away and then he took a double take and smiled SO big! Ahhhh! :) Now my dad got to see just how happy he is when I pick him up. We made a pit stop at Publix to grab a few things for dinner (oh and we couldn't forget his iced shortbread cookies!) and then we finally made it home! I felt like I was on the run more than ever today back and forth in the car driving somewhere. At least it was a day off!

Weekend Recap -We had a lovely weekend. The weather was absolutely beautiful. Baker and I drove up to Charlotte on Saturday to spend the day with my bff, Elizabeth. We had fun eating and of course shopping! Sunday we relaxed and while Gordie went to the SC baseball game, Baker and I went to a birthday party! Lillian Marple is turning ONE!! She is exactly 3 months younger than Baker. Her mom, Leigh Ann, is Gordie's cousin. We had a great time spending time with family and little miss Lillian racked up on lots of new toys! Baker thoroughly enjoyed his cupcake too! This boy loves his sweets but does not like anything chocolate so he is definitely Gordie's child!
