Baker,
You're the best big brother around. We couldn't have imagined how well you would do having a little brother around who takes a lot of our time and attention. You have showed us a side of you that is SO caring and proud. You smile from ear to ear when your classmates ask to see baby Preston. You loudly and happily say "Yes, that's MY baby brother!" You enjoy special time with both mommy & daddy playing games, your leapfrog, and shooting basketball. These days you are captivated by "the girls". You are always asking us "where are the girls?" when we watch a basketball or football game on tv. We finally realized you're asking where are the dancers/cheerleaders. You are fascinated by them and their moves. You are so observant in watching them and lately have been wanting to imitate their dancing moves. You had 2 koosh balls that you called your "red gamecock and blue gamecock" that we had to throw away because they got so dirty that Daddy washed them with water and they just collected more dirt. You and Daddy agreed they needed to go bye bye and you did so well putting them in the trash without a meltdown. You understood they were gone yet sometimes you still ask where they are. We raised your basketball goal into the main post because you're growing and getting so tall! You sleep like a champ. Never once waking up during Preston's middle of the night crying sessions or night time feedings. You love your Dream Lite that projects images on your wall and ceiling. You love it when we countdown (3...2...1...BLAST OFF!) to turn off your lights before we leave the room. You enjoy "calling us in" for a 3/4/5/6 way bedtime kiss (depending on how many babies you include). You sing, dance, and talk so much these days that we sometimes have to step back and realize just how old you are getting. You enjoy telling us phrases like "because i said so" and "what'd you say? I can't hear you" Your favorite show is still Caillou and I'm pretty sure you'll have Preston addicted by time he's 1. You told us the other day that you loved your new school and that made us smile. There's something about you reassuring us that you love the place we have to take you to everyday while we are at work. I know PPCDC is a loving environment based on christian values and we can definitely see you learning and growing in a way that we approve. They are teaching you so many things like the pledge of allegiance--we had no idea you knew all the words! Oh, we can't forget you favorite songs..."Tree Song" and "Cookaburra". We love you Baker. Keep shining your sweet smile, giggling loudly, and telling us all your silly phrases. We love you forever and ever.
