Baker's Double Ear Infection

Baker was doing so well not having any ear infections at all in 2012 but today he was complaining terribly about his ear hurting.  He never complains so I knew he had to feel pretty bad.  We walked into school and he just melted on the floor and into my arms saying he didn't feel good and his right ear hurt so bad.  Thankfully my dad wasn't busy and he watched him all day.  He was acting very lethargic, unhappy, and kept moaning at my parents which prompted me to get him an appointment to be seen at the doctor.  My dad took him to see Dr. Powell at Sandhills in Irmo and he had a double ear infection and his ears were full of wax and yuckiness! Poor guy has ear drops and an antibiotic [Augmentin] to help him get better. He kept saying he had a bumblebee in his ear.  30 minutes after he took the medicine and it kicked in he was back to his happy, usual self running around the house with toys in hand wanting to play.  It's good to have him feeling back to himself again!
