Brotherly love began the minute Baker met Preston. It was an instant love. Baker constantly talks about baby Preston and how much he loves him and how he's his "best friend". I know as they grow up this will eventually become a love/hate relationship through the years but it is so comforting and warms my heart to see them interact and love each other even at the young ages of 3 years old and 2 months old. You can see in Preston's eyes when he watches Baker just how much he adores his big brother. My heart smiles as Baker lights up when people ask him about his baby brother because he loves to show him off. He jumps at the opportunity to tell them he's fragile. Most times you'll find him wherever Preston is gently caressing him when he's crying or giving him a smooch on the head to show him he cares. He'll be the first one at my feet to let me know Preston is hungry and needs milk the minute he starts crying. At 2 months, Preston loves to smile especially at Baker and he gets a kick out of it saying "Mommy, look! He's smiling at me!!"
I can't wait to watch them interact as they continue to grow.
Our hearts are so full and we are grateful to be surrounded with the gift of love through our boys and pray each and every day for guidance, patience, and perspective as we continue this awesome journey God has chosen for us and our boys as the Moore Family
