Black Island Farms

After watching the Carolina game, we decided to take a drive out to Syracuse, UT (about 15 minutes from our house) to Black Island Farms to get some pumpkins! You had to pay for a hayride and in return you could pick any pumpkin you wanted no matter the size. It was really neat picking your own as you got to cut them fresh off the vine! It was pretty chilly today (around 50 degrees) and as you can see from the picture above, there is some snow on the mountains already. We have yet to have our first "snow storm" but I'm sure that will be around the corner. Gordie carved an awesome Gamecock pumpkin last year so stay tuned to what he will do this year...

Miller wanted to go on the hayride but of course they don't allow pets...so here was his "sad" face.
