6 month check up

"him's a big boy!"

Baker had his 6 month check up this past Tuesday, June 1. He weighed 17.2 lbs, 26.5 inches long, and 17 inch circumference head. He's growing well and had a clean bill of health! We were REALLY worried he had another ear infection since he had been tugging on his ear and he never did that before but come to find out it was just the altitude difference since we were in SC for quite sometime and he never had been to a lower altitude so his little ears were getting adjusted and probably bothered him when we returned to the land of mountains. He is doing great on his percentile charts growing along the curves in all areas as he should. I forget the exact percentages. He got all his shots and we don't go back til he's 9 months, thankfully! Before he never minded the shots but this time I guess since he is older and more "with it" he knew it didn't feel good and I'm thinking his little thighs got really sore. He would scream bloody murder whenever I changed his diaper that night. Thankfully it didn't last long. He is back to his happy, squirrelly self! He apparently is making friends with he girls in his new room at daycare. I think his new room transition week has gone well. The new girls really seem to like him and he seems to really like them. He is the lesser mobile baby as all the others are crawling or walking so I'm sure they'll entice him to get moving soon! For now, we are going to thoroughly enjoy our toothless, rolling, silly, never stops kicking, adorable baby boy! He's growing up fast and we are loving every minute!
