Given all our recent sicknesses, we have gotten off track with trying new baby foods. Since applesauce is so bland and really doesn't cause too many issues his pediatrician said we could give it a go and the outcome was that he absolutely LOVED it. I've never seen him so receptive to a baby food like that since carrots. I will say by far his 2 favorite foods are carrots and applesauce. Although he really isn't picky as he loves everything we have given him so far which consists of:
- green beans
- carrots
- sweet potatoes
- squash
- bananas (he hated them at first but now he loves them)
- applesauce
- yogurt
- and of course rice cereal and single grain oatmeal
We have also given him some apple juice on occasion which he loves and also some nursery water in his sippy cup which he thoroughly enjoys. His next fruit will be peaches and then I think we'll try pears.

He was getting impatient and trying to reach for my hand/the spoon/or the bowl.
*Disclaimer - There are some applesauce remnants around his nose so if you were wondering what that was...yeah. LOL :) I promise we keep a clean baby. Just feeding time gets a little messy.
We gave him his regular bath tonight and then let him "swim" in the tub for a few minutes with his rubber ducky. We took a video of it so I'll have to post it when I figure out how to do so. It is so stinking cute! Baker was laughing as his rubber ducky would float away and then come close and then float away again. It was hilarious! His laugh is seriously contagious. You'll see what I mean when I post the video...
