Gordie, Baker, and I took a road trip down to Folly Beach on Thursday, May 20th. We were contemplating going for 2 days but I'm glad we didn't. 1 day ended up being plenty and while neither of us got ANY sun to show we went to the beach, having an infant at the beach was enough work for both of us and we were only there a few hours. Baker wasn't sure what to think of the sand and ocean but loved spending time in his tent!

Baker at dinner squealing as we ate on the dock of Bowen's Island. Fried seafood, hushpuppies, and french fries. It was delicious!

Happy as can be!

Me and Baker in his wonderful tent. It was a great tent until I broke it when we were packing up to go home. Oh well, I'll just have to get another one if we need it.
Anticipating the wave...

Yeah, he's not liking it so much. I love how he is crossing his hands and holding tightly thinking that will make it all better. haha :)

I thought he would LOVE the water considering he loves his baths but I guess a big, roaring outdoor bath might scare me too.

Enjoying the beach! Finally we made it.
