17 Months & Easter Weekend

Happy Good Friday and Happy 17 months Baker!! I have off work today and am so thankful since I was just completely worn out this week. I couldn't think about going to work today. We started out our day by taking the big boy to daycare and then Gordie and I ate breakfast together at Cracker Barrel before he had to head to work. We are trying to put an offer down on a house we found that we LOVE so we met with an attorney this week and had them draw up a purchase agreement. Since we only have limited time together to go over it we spent the morning reviewing it against our list of contingencies to make sure it was what we wanted. Everything looks good but I'm going to have my dad look it over and then I think we'll be moving forward and get the agreement to the owners and go from there. Wish us luck!!

As far as our Easter weekend, I think we are going to kick off the festivities with a visit to the Easter Bunny after Gordie gets off work. Hopefully Baker will like him and let us get a picture of them together! **SUCCESS!!** Well he didn't smile too big but we got a little smirk out of him thanks to my peekaboo skills. :) I'm sure I was ridiculous to see if anyone witnessed it. Funny the things you'll do to get your child to smile for a picture. ;) We are looking forward to coloring some Easter eggs, going to church, and squeezing in an easter egg hunt!

Our 17 month old & the Easter Bunny
**Did you take note that the Easter Bunny is wearing a bow? I swear the bunny said something when Baker was walking up and it sounded like a man...dressed up as a girl bunny. weird! haha

Look who has bunny ears!
Don't you think he reminds you of the Nestle Nesquik bunny with those ears?

**On a side note, my mom's last graduate class ends on Monday so congratulations to her on completing all of her classes to get her Master's Degree...Go Mom!!

I hope y'all have a Happy Easter!

  2. I know!! We can't wait either. I'll definitely send you a picture if the contract gets signed and it seems like it is going to be a done deal. I don't know how my mom does it. I have no urge to go get my Masters Degree now let alone 20+ years from now but I am SO proud of her.
