The perfect Sunday

This weekend was great! Despite Gordie getting sick on Friday from our date night dinner...fail! We won't ever frequent Sunming again!

Saturday Gordie had to work but my bff, Elizabeth, came down and we hung out and shopped! We ate lunch at an awesome cafe in Lexington called Everyday Gourmet. Their chicken salad croissant is to die for! We visited Gordie at work and then hit up some shops! It was so great to see Elizabeth and hang out! Even if Baker at times got a little fussy!

@ Everday Gourmet in Lexington.

Cheesing. He has quite the personality these days.

Taking a break and playing with the tic tac toe letters at Ollies in Lexington. We made a pit stop to get drinks/juice and Baker enjoyed playing with the table game.

Sunday was just about the most perfect day. Not only was the weather sunny and warm but it was a total family day and I love those!! We ate breakfast and lounged around. We didn't make it to church since Gordie still wasn't feeling 100% so really the perfect Sunday would have included church but we will go next weekend. We then headed out to West Columbia to look at a house we found that we REALLY like. This was our second visit to see it and we still love it! The backyard is huge which is what we love. The entire house is what we need. Not too big and not too small 3bdrms 2 baths all brick one story with hardwoods throughout. We'll see what happens! Then we headed out to lunch...just me, Gordie, and Baker. Gordie felt up to Carolina Wings and I was all about some sweet tea and wing chips!! We relaxed the rest of the afternoon and then headed out to the Irmo Park to take some pictures of Baker. We have been trying to take these pictures for months now so I was sooo happy we were finally getting them taken. Between our schedules or the weather it's been put off for too long. Gordie did an absolutely wonderful job. I have the most talented hubby!!! We then spent the evening with my parents showing them the house and the neighborhood. They weren't able to go earlier so I wanted them to see the outside and backyard at least.

Heres the start to another week. Let's just hope it goes by quickly!! We live for and LOVE our weekends!!
