UnConference

Here's what we woke up to this morning. At least I have this video to watch every morning while I am on travel in Greenville for my work's annual conference! We put on a convention for all SC Realtors to attend. We have a keynote speaker, award ceremony, education sessions, and our Board of Directors meeting. We have spent months and months planning for this event and this one was my first one so it is really exciting to see it all come together. Hopefully all goes well and we pull it off without a hitch! We hold one every year at an alternating location in SC and this year we are at the Hyatt Regency. The H.R. and I go back a long time as I used to have dance conventions/competitions here so it was really weird walking and checking in after so many years and not seeing dancers, posters, and competition numbers everywhere. It still looks the same though so not that much has changed! I am here until Friday afternoon so that means 3 nights and 4 days away from my boys! EEEkkkk! Yes, it is heart wrenching but it helps me cherish all the times we all have together and Gordie and I both looked at each other this morning and thanked the Lord that I don't travel regularly for work. We can handle short trips every once in a while. A big thanks to my parents in helping pick up Baker this week when Gordie closes at work. I don't know what we'd do w/o them! This is a picture they took for me when they got home this evening and it is what will keep me going and surviving this hectic, busy, but fun week!
