We always look forward to long weekends and this 3 day weekend was no different! Although Gordie had to work on Saturday, my mom and I had fun taking Baker out for a quick shoe run at Stride Rite at Sandhills! Baker's shoe size is now a 6.5! We picked out a winning pair of new shoes because he hates to take them off! He actually ran around the entire store in them. We knew those were THE pair. We then relaxed the rest of the day at home while my parents, brother, and Gordie hit the road to Charlotte to see the Gamecocks play!
Sunday we spent the day in Camden hanging out at the shop with Gordie's parents. They had a great time with Baker and we grilled out some amazing chicken and had a delicious dinner!

Napping on his pallet of memory foam with his fav, Gus.

Look at that SWEET face!

I just love watching him play. You can get a glimpse of his new shoes in this one

Watching a few episodes of Caillou to stay entertained

Monday Gordie and I slept in a little and then headed out to the Toyota dealership to look at cars! We have been looking around to see what would suit our needs financially and we settled with the Camrys! It has been bittersweet thinking about trading in the Avalanche but at the same time we need something that is more economical in payments and gas. We picked out a black one and worked out all the details and were having one sent to the dealership from Greenville and it would be there on Tuesday. YAY!!

Bye Bye Avalance, we'll miss you but we'll always have all the sweet memories!

I'd say we had a successful Labor Day Weekend this year. Just as always, it goes by TOO fast.
