While he doesn't look remotely ill in this video, Baker does have a pretty serious sinus infection. He's on the antibiotic, Omnicef, and hopefully is on the road to recovery. I'd like to kick his nasty cough and congestion to the curb! He told me this morning after he woke up and walked over to our room at 6:50AM, "Mama, my nose!" Translation being it was stuffy! Poor guy...at least he was trying to let me know.
I can't forget to note that last night was the first real fall. He fell out of bed around 2PM. I heard a thud and all of a sudden a loud outburst cry. I knew exactly what it was and it startled me to jump out of bed! Poor baby!! He was just as startled as I was. He thankfully went right back to sleep. I'm guessing this sinus infection had him all off balance!
Baker did tell me his first complete sentence yesterday. He wanted to show me something he did in the kitchen and came over to me in the living room saying, "Mama, please come here...I want to show you something" (except his version sounded more like "mama, pease come here...I ant to owe u someting!" Our little boy is FINALLY making sentences. We have been waiting for this moment. However, he still rants and raves in his own language...we are trying hard to get it to come out in more intelligible words/phrases/sentences.
On a side note - Baker loves to copy everything we say and do. He is our little parrot. Gordie was doing pullups the other day and Baker insisted on doing some. Watch the clip here!
