So they predict another 6 weeks of winter and this is what Baker has to say about that...

I'd say that is his ehhh face. hahah We are ready for Spring! Bring on the warmer temps. Enough of this snow!

His upper lip looks red because he just got done drinking a bottle. He really works the bottle too so that's why he appears to have a "red mustache"

This was hilarious in my opinion, poor guy.
Our first try with a Bib. If you watched the first video, you would know why! He didn't really mind having it on.
Our little guy during one of his crying fits. You can see the pout lip in action so watch out for it!
**I'm not sure what happened to the video but the audio is a little delayed from the video so don't think something is wrong with your computer because it's the video.
Dr. Appt Update -
I don't really have much new news to report. Baker had the appt today with the Opthomologist and they dilated his eyes to ensure everything was good. He did soo good for the nurse and Dr. He only cried when she put the drops in. Otherwise, he was a happy baby. The Dr. was impressed! He said he wished all his other baby patients would act as good as he does. What can I say? He is pretty much the best baby on the planet!! The Dr. reported that his optic nerves and retinas look great so that is wonderful news. However, they didn't really give us a good explanation for the gray/blue color in the corners of his eyes. Apparently, it can be nothing or it can be something very serious. We just have to wait it out to see how he develops as to find out if it really is anything to worry about. The blue/gray color is just telling us that the sclera is thin in those areas which is where the connective muscle attaches to the eye. The Dr. said there isn't any problem with it being thin other than the color showing through. He said with some infants the discoloration goes away and with some people it stays but doesn't do them any harm. If he has to wear contact lenses when he gets older, a thin sclera will not prohibit him from doing so which was good news! Both Gordie and I are nearsighted so he said there is a good chance that Baker will probably be as well at some point in his life; however, I'm hoping not! We have to watch Baker as he develops and take note if he does things he should on time and if his eye coloration stays the same or gets better. Of course we are hoping it gets better but we will pay close attention to it. He has to follow up with the Dr. in a year and he wants to see him every year for the next five years for check ups. I'm praying and will continue to pray that he doesn't have the severe/worst case scenario. I don't even want to bring up what the blue/gray in the eyes is a precursor of so we won't cross that bridge unless necessary. I'll keep you posted!
