Happy Valentine's Day!

I hope y'all had a happy valentine's day!! We sure did! :) It was a lazy Sunday for us as we took it easy and ran a few last minute errands to get some items for me to head back to work and for Baker to be ready for daycare. Today was my last day at home, yes it was very sad! I go back to work tomorrow morning. While it will be good to get back, I know I will miss my sweet baby so much! We plan to leave the house tomorrow bright and early at 7AM so I can get him there a little early to meet his teachers and give them the Baker "run down". I also have to drop off all the stuff he'll need (diapers, wipes, bottles/milk, etc.) so tomorrow I'll be hauling quite the load. I made myself a list so I don't forget anything especially since it will be SO early. I plan to get to work at 8 or hopefully a little before and I'll work til 5:30PM. Gordie has off work (lucky him!) due to it being President's Day so he will get to sleep in and have a day to himself! He deserves it! :)

We took Miller on a walk late this afternoon and we took Baker in the stroller too! He liked it, at least I think he did. We went to see the horses and this time we were prepared and brought apple slices. Only one horse came up to us at first so we figured we would just feed him all the apples. The other two weren't interested. Well, when we got down to the last apple, the other two galluped over to us so fast as they saw they were missing out! I guess they were figuring we were just there to "see" the horses as they probably have a lot of people stop by but never give them treats. I suppose they didn't want to waste their time or energy coming over if it were for nothing. ha ha.

All 3 horses
The lucky horse that got most of the apples! I love how into the horse Miller is. You'd think he was wanting to eat the apple but actually Miller hates apples. His face is so intense and all he wanted to do was lick the horse. :)

We decided to stay in and celebrate Valentine's with some fondue! We love fondue and my favorite restaurant is the melting pot. Well you can't take infants there and we weren't about to pay $100 for a meal and have a neighbor watch him so we put our fondue set to work and it was delicious! We did the cheese fondue as an appetizer and then we cooked steak and veggies as our main course and had some plain cheesecake for dessert. It was so yummy!

Well, it is 10PM and that means bedtime! I'll post tomorrow to let you know how my first day at work went and how Baker's first day at daycare went. I hope I have the strength in the morning to leave him there. I know it probably will be sad but I'm sure he'll have a good time.

xoxo, goodnight!
