These days Baker is really starting to develop quite the personality. He is now responding to us calling him "Baker Liam" with big smiles, small giggles, and the batting of his eyelashes. Monday, February 7th, was the day he gave his first good laugh. He had just eaten a bottle and was relaxing on my chest. He was starting to give a lot of big smiles and then out of no where he burst into a big giggle! It was soo precious! :)
At the end of January, he realized he had hands and now he is starting to more and more with them. He attempts to eat them and sometimes sticks his entire hand in his mouth. He likes to rub his arm over his mouth and attempt to eat his shirt sleeve too! These past week he has also started to lick a lot. I almost think at times we are raising a lizard the way he likes to lick everything. He just loves to stick his tongue out and lick you when you bend down to kiss him on the cheek or lips. It's just too funny! He now has taken a liking to the Avent pacifiers. He used to ONLY like the soothie (aka mr. soothie) pacifiers but I tried him on the Avent ones and now he won't go back to the others!
Baker now weighs 13.5 lbs! What a little chunky monkey :) He is quite the piggy still eating 4 oz every 3 hours. He is still sleeping through the night, thank goodness! I just hope he continues this trend. I go back to work next week and am hoping I can start getting to bed a little earlier than I have been. Pumping really dictates my schedule and I have to coordinate everything around it including sleep. However, I know it's all for Baker! :)
We are going on another field trip to Park City this Saturday so I can get some black pants from either the Gap or Banana Republic. We can afford the outlet prices more so than the regular store and it gives us a good excuse to get outta town for a bit. I'll make sure to get some pictures of Baker on this outing since I forgot last time.
