We have moved up!

So much for taking that bulky car seat into restaurants now...

Baker's moved onto the high chair! Perfect caption to this picture would be *oh waiter, check please!*

We finally broke down and bought the high chair/shopping cart covers at Babies R Us today. You know me "miss germaphob" so I had to get one to protect him from the dirty restaurant chairs/store carts. He loves his high chair at home so I figured it was time to move on. The last few times we took him out to eat he was much too interested to stay in his seat and fussed to get out. He loved looking around and waving his arms everywhere. (as you can see from the pic above). This cover is nice as it has some hooks so you can latch on some toys so that they don't fall off which is good. He has a knack for throwing things lately, imagine that? :) I'll let you know how our first shopping excursion goes with it. Hopefully it will be just as successful as this one was!

We also installed a baby gate this afternoon. Baker has showed some signs of crawling but nothing substantial yet. He does manage to get himself from one side of the room to the other but mostly he is rolling and pushing himself backwards to do that. But we wanted to partition the living room off to alleviate Miller's dog hair from taking over the carpet while Baker is on the floor so much. No matter how often I vacuum...it just isn't enough! That's a German Shepherd for you. But I love him to death and wouldn't have it any other way. I just have to "furminate" him more and we just have to make time to do it. For any of you that don't know what that is...Look here. It seriously works and to be honest it always looks like we have taken off enough hair to create another dog & cat when we "furminate" Miller and Freida. It's crazy!!

Off to start another work week, BOO! On the bright side, my mom will be here Wednesday!!! Baker is going to be soooo spoiled! We just can't wait to see her. It's been since May but it feels so much longer! I know he will love a break from daycare and getting some much needed grandma time in!! :)
