PBC - VBS

I am so glad we decided to enroll Baker in Vacation Bible School this week. Even though it does create a lot more driving back and forth (I am getting a taste of what it is like to be a chauffeur already) he is having a blast and loving all their crafts, activities, snacks, and bible stories. Oh, and did I mention that they have a bounce house too? He apparently LOVES to play in it especially since he just went to Monkey Joes. He knew what to do! It is so sweet because he comes home with a craft each night (just like daycare!) and we hear all about what they did when we pick him up. He has really enjoyed one particular boy in the class and although I don't know his name, Gordie and I nicknamed him the "Engineer". He doesn't say much but seems to be very smart! He actually knew Baker was our child the first day we picked him up. He came over and got my hand, pointed at Baker, and smiled. Tonight I wanted to take a few pictures and when he saw the camera he quickly knew what that meant and stood right next to Baker for a picture. Too bad Baker is such a wiggle worm! It would have been a cute one!

Look at our sweet boy sitting in a big boy chair eating his snack! There were not as many kids there tonight. Apparently it is vacation time as some families are trying to squeeze in one last trip before school starts. Where did summer go?

Baker is always in a GREAT mood after bible school. I think we all have permanent smiles on our face and our cheeks hurt from laughing so hard because of the cute things Baker is doing or saying. Lately, he loves to say the letter "B". He says it with a cheese smile and draws it out like "BBBBBBBBBBeeeeee" He giggles at everything Gordie says and we even got him to clap, dance, and raise the roof tonight! hahah He is so much fun! We love our little guy to pieces!
