This week I am 32 weeks which means in just 8 weeks or less our baby boy will arrive. Scary thought is I feel we still have a lot to do before he gets here...
I am feeling great aside from my allergies kicking my tail. I have had quite a time this pregnancy controlling my allergies. Maybe its different being in the South and being pregnant. Either way, I love being pregnant because I never have migraines! If they could only come up with something I could take forever that would trick my body into not getting another migraine. I really am not looking forward to those nasty things coming back after delivery.
I'm feeling a lot of swirls, kicks, punches, flutters, and all on a daily basis. This little boy is VERY active which obviously is a good thing, I think. Baker understands that a baby is in my "tummy" and when I help him get dressed in the morning he always talks to the baby and says "ood mornin"
Baker is less than 2 months away from his 3rd birthday. I still am not sure where this entire year went by because it feels like he just turned 2! We are going to celebrate his birthday in early November before his little brother arrives. Baker's birthday this year is ON Thanksgiving. I never thought about it actually landing on turkey day but this year it does! He is talking non stop about his birthday and how he wants stars, balloons, birthday cake, candles, and everything. He loves to sing happy birthday and has been practicing by singing it to us and using bread ties as candles and pretends to blow on the bread ties to imitate blowing out the candles. He LOVES to use his imagination and do pretend play.
- Loves to sing in the car and requests to listen to HIS music (a toddler nursery rhyme CD)
- Says his prayers every night before bed. He has 2 prayers he says. One we taught him and one he says at school. He insists on saying both of them every night before bed.
- He loves to sing "Jesus Loves Me"
- He's still very independent and says "Let me do it!"
- Anytime he wants something he always adds a "can we, paaaalease???!!! to the end of it.
- He is 100% potty trained and we are so proud of him!!! We still use pull ups at night but I do think we are very close to stopping that soon. Potty training took a lot of time, effort, and patience. Before we thought his little bottom in a diaper was the cutest thing. It is neat how our opinions change and now we love seeing him run around the house and squeezing his little tush in his little boy underpants!
- He even takes himself to the bathroom and usually comes out with his underpants in hand waiting on you to help him put them back on. Yes, he likes to totally disrobe from the waist down when he uses the bathroom at home. He doesn't do this when we are out so I don't know why he does it at home. I guess he likes to be as comfortable as possible??
- He has to have his phone and wallet wherever we go.
- He loves to call lunch his "lunce". Pointing to a restaurant like Chickfila or Rush's and saying "I want some lunce"!

He loves eating desserts -- after eating a cupcake for Wesley's birthday
We are 100% potty trained! Big boy underpants ALL THE WAY!
We have such a creative boy. He loves arts and crafts and requests to paint all the time.
Baker absolutely loves his daddy. As a matter of fact he adores his daddy. Here's a little clip showing you just how much he misses his daddy when he leaves.
