We have a "Star Student" this week!

Baker's school does Star Student Weeks and each child gets a week during the year where they are the special star student.  Baker's week is this week and it is a very exciting time for them as they get to be line leader and do special things in the class where they go first, etc.  The teachers really try to make each child feel super special during the week so I think it's a pretty neat idea. 

They have you do a few extra things during the week to celebrate.  Monday we had to bring in pictures to decorate the bulletin board and bring a special movie to share -- we brought Elmo Says Boo! to extend the celebration of Halloween and because everyone loves Elmo!  Wednesday we had to bring in a favorite snack & drink to share (see below).  We end the week with Friday and bringing in his favorite book to share with the class.
