After getting the plate put on, we went out for an afternoon of shopping. I didn't find a single thing which seems to be the trend lately. When I have money to spend, I see nothing to buy. So naturally I go onto buying things for others and one little human being that I LOVE to spend money on and would spend the last penny in my wallet on him if it came down to it - is Baker. Today, we had to buy a humidifier because the little guy is so congested. I thought he was already over his cold but my hopes were shot down when my parents called while we were out saying he was breathing out of his mouth because his nose was so stuffy. :( My hopes that we packed so nice and neat were shot out the window when it got down to crunch time and our humidifier we had got packed away somewhere and is sitting fat and happy in our storage unit...imagine that! While on our trek out on Harbison today...we came across the store Buy Buy Baby. We both had heard of it but never been inside. Come to find out it is like Bed Bath and Beyond - yet completely baby-fied. Little did we know Bed Bath and Beyond BOUGHT Buy Buy Baby so that is why the store is almost a complete duplicate except for the merchandise. I came across this awesome find that while it is a little pricey ($1.19 a pouch) they are great for on the go snacks for Baker. It is real fruit that has been pureed or mashed up and put into this resealable pouch. I bought one to test it out and Baker LOVED the tropical fruit. Yes, I do agree that I could puree my own fruit and give it to my son but these are just so convenient for when you don't have the time!
Here's what they look like. Of course this is after he devoured the entire thing. I bet we'll be buying more soon - just because!
And yes, we did still get the humidifier which was the reason for our trip there in the first place...Meet EE Elephant! The vapor mist comes out of his trunk. It's too cute!

How do the mashups work? Do you just squeeze it onto a spoon? They look neat! Oh and love the humidifier! That's the one M has too!
ReplyDeleteYou can squeeze them right in your mouth or that is the intent, I think! Baker is a little young for doing that so I put it in a bowl and he ate it from a spoon. He LOVED it. I knew she had one but couldn't remember which she had. It works great!
