30 on the 30th

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GORDIE!

Yes, that's right. My sweet husband and Baker's wonderful daddy turned 30 on January 30th! He had an awesome birthday weekend. Saturday he went to the afternoon USC vs. Auburn basketball game. I met up with them afterward and we headed out to Camden. We helped Gordie's parents hang their sign on the building of their new shop and then went out to eat at Leo's Wings in Lugoff to celebrate our birthdays with Gordie's parents and Wesley. Baker thoroughly enjoyed some Leo's chicken! Sunday morning on Gordie's official birthday we had a cookout to celebrate 3 birthdays (mine, Gray's, and especially Gordie's). Steaks, potatoes, salad, and blueberry cheesecake hit the spot. To boot the weather was GORGEOUS. The high ended up being 74! This was the first time in years that we sat outside at the end of January in short sleeves! After an afternoon of celebrating and a shake weight gift later...ahahah yes Gordie's siblings gave him a shake weight! We came back to Irmo so we could do more celebrating with my family. We headed to Tokyo Grill for dinner and as always it was delicious. We capped the night off with his favorite donuts from Dunkin Donuts! There were no DD's in Utah so we have definitely enjoyed having them since we have been home.
