She gave him a kiss on the cheek and pat him on his tummy. She loved "babying" Baker. :)
Landon & Baker. He loved showing Baker how to play with all his toys. We love the Peake's! We'll have to do another play date soon!
Tonight Gordie and I had a date night! It was much needed and so wonderful. We started our night out to dinner at Copper River Grill. I love that place and Gordie hadn't ever been so I kept telling him he had to go. We had an unfortunate wait of 30 minutes but it was worth it. He got a 12oz burger for dinner so I think it was well worth the wait. No seriously, their burgers are HUGE. I wish I would have gotten a picture of that thing because it literally took up half of the plate. We left our phones in the car so neither of us would spend any time looking at it while we were out. As you know we are both addicted to them but on date nights we go phone free! Even though we had a wait, we still had an hour to kill before the movie started so we stopped by Petsmart and got Miller his food, went to Wal-Mart and got some candy, and then headed to the theater. We wanted to see Due Date but didn't want to wait until 9:20PM. Seriously, I guess we are that old. Ha!We ended up seeing Little Fockers. It was pretty funny!
While we were out for date night, my parents watched Baker. We had been telling my Mom earlier in the evening that Baker had been saying "uh oh" at various times throughout the day. It seems to be his new word other than his regular MaMa, DaDa, BaBa, and NaNa. However, he hadn't been saying it when something actually happens (i.e. he drops something or can't get to something.) But tonight after we left to go out, my parents were feeding Baker and apparently his sippy cup fell off of his high chair tray and he said "uh oh!" hahah. Sad I missed it but so happy they heard it and more that he said it following an action! :) So we can now note that Baker's new word (if you can call it one) was said today 1/14/2011.

Laughing and smiling - 2 of his favorite things to do.
