No Roadtrip

We decided against spending the money and taking a trip to Charlotte to see Sesame Street Live. Maybe next year! This past weekend was great! Friday night Gordie and my dad went to the Gamecocks baseball game so that left me, my mom, and Baker to enjoy girls night! Poor little guy! hahah We had fun. We enjoyed a nice dinner out to eat (our fav...Lizards Thicket!) and then relaxed at home and watched a movie called "Life as We Know It". It was SUCH a cute movie. I highly recommend it.

Saturday Gordie had to work so we just lounged around the house. We ran some errands, ate lunch with Gordie at the mall on his lunch break, and then dropped by TjMaxx. Baker was NOT acting well as he was squealing in a high pitch sound so we exited TjMaxx fairly quickly but did manage to get Gordie 2 new button down shirts on sale, woohoo!

Sunday we went to church and then ate lunch with my family. Gordie went to the gym while I headed to the mall. It has been quite sometime that I have bought some new clothes so that was the mission. Baker stayed at home with my mom so it was great being able to zip in and out of stores and actually take time to try on some clothes. I managed to find a good amount of new tops which was my goal of what I was looking for. YAY! We capped our night off by watching the movie "Morning Glory". We both enjoyed it! It was the best way to wind down from a great weekend. Even if "springing ahead" the clocks messed up our systems.

Baker Update - Baker is finally saying the word "hi", something that resembles the word "dog", and is right now turning into the pickiest eater we know. He spits everything out and won't eat everything like he used to. We definitely aren't used to this picky side! He's always been such a great eater! However, one thing remains...he still LOVES his milk.

I'm headed to Dallas on Thursday for work and will be there until Saturday so I'll have to update you later on how my seminar is going! This will be my first time staying in a "big" city by myself. hello shuttles, taxis, airport, dinners, everything by myself! ahhhh. :) I can do it but I know I'm going to miss my sweet baby and hubby so much!
