I finally got home from Texas Saturday evening about 6PM. Gordie captured a video on his phone that I'll have to upload of me walking from the gate towards them. It is just about the sweetest thing to watch. So for now I'll leave you with this sweet face I couldn't wait to see when I got home. He was happy to see me too!
Sunday was my only real day "off" so we enjoyed an awesome family day. We went out to Target (of course!) to grab a few things and then had lunch together at Five Guys (delicious) and ended our afternoon outing at the park. Baker was asleep at first when we got there but then livened up when I took him down the slide. He loved it! We'll definitely be going back soon. Gordie then headed out to the USC baseball game while Baker and I rested at home. Being gone a few days and even though I got to enjoy some extra "me" time in the evenings...I was exhausted! Traveling will take it out of you.

This is back from March 12 but I don't think I posted it yet. He loved my dad's gamecock hat. It was definitely suitable for this weekend since Gordie and my dad went to a baseball game on Sunday.
