Happy Daycare / Provider Appreciation Day!
If you have a child that is at a daycare or stays at home with a family member, be sure to say a special thank you to them today! We participated with some other families at Baker's daycare to provide lunch from Olive Garden to help celebrate the day and thank them for all the hard work they do everyday in helping provide care for our children. We all pitched in to buy the lunch and I brought some ice and drinks as well. Everyone was so appreciative for it and it was great! Although it was a little sad seeing such a yummy lunch and having to walk away without a bite! Ha! One of the ladies sister's made the cake. It turned out great. I'm pretty sure it was quite tasty but I'll have to take their word for it!
Baker is at home today again with Poppy. He's got 2 ear infections and we are giving him lovely ear drops. Giving him the drops is definitely a work out. He fights us with his arms and legs. It takes one person to hold him down and the other to put in the drops. He's a strong boy! He actually slept last night which is an accomplishment for all of us. I hope he starts feeling better soon! I hate seeing him look and act so miserable.
On another note, TGIF!! Oh, and I hope all of you have a great Mother's Day weekend!!
