Woohoo! The 2010 Football season is FINALLY here! I thankfully made it home in time to see the kickoff. My afternoon at work was crazy as today was my busy Thursday but I made it out of there at 5:15 with 15 minutes to get home and change into our garnet gear! What a game and what a great win! Maybe our little turkey is just what the gamecocks needed to do well! He might just be the "lucky charm!" The baseball team was led to the championship with his presence...maybe the football team will follow in their footsteps? It's too early to tell but I think there's definitely a chance this year if they just keep it together the entire year.
I am still sick *sigh* and finally got a Z-pack since the Amoxicllin isn't doing ANYTHING. I had to fight the base clinic to give me something but they gave in. Can you believe they told me having yellow & green phlegm meant it was a viral infection?! Uhhh RIGHT. Any human being knows that means bacterial infection! I swear sometimes I am dealing with two year olds when I go there. You always have to be your own advocate but when they don't listen to you it just doesn't help! Here I was ASKING for a Z-pack on Friday when I went in the first time and she said that usually doesn't help for sinus infections...REALLY? I think that's what I've ALWAYS been given for a sinus infection in the past. WOW. Where does the AF get these "doctors" from anyway?? Hopefully it will work like it has in the past and get me back to feeling 100% soon.
I just realized how pale we are from looking at these pictures. Wow! We never really made it out much in the sun this summer. I guess that's what happens when you have an infant! We don't like to have him in the sun too much but I guess that's good for our skin, right?

So this weekend is Labor Day weekend and that means no work or laboring on Monday! Woot Woot! I was going to take tomorrow off but I have a few things to take care of so I only plan on working 3 hours in the morning then hello 3 1/2 day weekend! :) We hope you have a nice, long holiday weekend!
