Eye Doctor & Fun

Today we took Baker to a follow up at the Ophthalmologist to check on his eyes. He has always had some "gray" color in the corner of his eyes that we have been watching and our first appt back in February he wasn't too concerned about it at all. Just that we should watch him develop and grow and see how it is. Not much has changed since then. The gray is fading a bit and he is progressing right on schedule or just ahead of where he should so we aren't seeing any developmental delays at all. The Dr. felt it is just some discoloration but doesn't think it is anything to be concerned about. We will take him to an Ophthalmologist every year as a precautionary measure just in case. We are so thankful it doesn't appear to be anything to worry or be concerned about! After the appointment, we went to Cafe Zupas for lunch. I'm not sure if it was because Baker's eyes were dilated or what but he was a riot making all sorts of hilarious faces and acting "buggy" eyed. :) Since he is officially 1, we decided to test out giving him a piece of a real strawberry. He wasn't too fond of it as he was making some real funny "sour" like faces. ha! I wish I had gotten a video. It was pretty much the funniest thing he's done thus far and some wild faces and even a shiver or two. We don't plan on giving him another for a while!
Here's a few pictures of him relaxing in his high chair playing on the laptop and eating his Gerber biter biscuit. He LOVES them. He even offered me a little bite. We have quite the well mannered baby boy offering his food to others.

Getting ready to demolish a Gerber biscuit - giving me the look of get that flash outta here!
ooo where shall I go? :)
CHEEESE!
Our happy dilated eyes boy
