Packing...

So have I mentioned how much I hate moving? Don't get me wrong, I'm overly joyed that we are moving back to SC but the thought of packing our junk in an organized fashion is overwhelming. Today was the first day of true packing. We started out organizing the garage so that we would be able to put packed boxes in there situated by rooms. (yes, the OCD in me has put up signs around the garage to somehow keep all our crap for each room together. I also have labels on the boxes. Ha!) I'm trying my hardest to keep everything as neat as possible. I want to try and avoid the famous question of "Ohhhhh where did I pack that?" I know it is bound to happen but considering we will be having the greater portion of our stuff in storage, I just want that question to happen less often.

Today was also Baker's last day at the Child Development Center on Hill AFB. Ohhh what a sad day!! He was crying when we left. Partially because we woke him up from his nap and he hadn't slept all day and when we woke him up it was time for him to have his bottle. He wasn't too happy with us! We gathered up all his stuff and got the cute booklet his teachers made along with his photo blocks and made our way to the car. We'll be going back on Tuesday to say our real goodbyes. We have a surprise for his teachers and it just wasn't ready today. They'll be happy to see him again too!

We left the CDC and headed to 5 Guys in Bountiful for dinner. It was so good as usual! Then Baker and I came home for date night! We rented Toy Story 3 to watch since Baker seemed soo into the characters from it that were on his diaper wipe box. Well, it turns out that Baker isn't too into sitting still. Imagine that? He used to sit on my lap and watch anything but now he'd rather be on the go doing what he wants so it is basically me sitting here watching it. He's still hanging out with his mama so I'd still consider our date night a success. The movie is really cute!! My Dad and Gordie headed to SLC after we ate dinner to go to the first basketball game for the University of Utah. My friend/co-worker, Kent, gave me his tickets for them to go. It was awfully nice of him to do that and I know they are enjoying something fun and "manly" after our busy day of packing.

We hope you guys have a great weekend!! We have lots of packing on deck this weekend and I am heading into my last week of work next week. I just can't believe how fast time is going. I will miss everyone from work so much! Oh and not to mention...Baker's 1st birthday is in 10 days....ahhhhhh!!!! :)
