11 months & Apple Pie Social

As promised, here's a picture from one of Baker's last days at a 10 month old. Don't you just love this adorable track suit? He was in Nike from head to toe. I think red is definitely his color.

Here's a glimpse into Baker's life at daycare. On Friday, 22 Oct the teachers in Rm 3 had an Apple Pie Social for the parents to enjoy snack time with their baby. The homemade apple pie was delicious. I haven't had apple pie in years so it was a nice treat! I took our camera so we were able to get some good shots of Baker, his room, and his friends!
A shot of half his room at daycare. *Baker is climbing up the steps and Aspyn is following.

Baker's best friend, William!
See what I can do?
Goofing around while Mommy and Daddy are here.

Babies playing. Kaynan on the floor and Dante standing by the play table with Aspyn next to him.
First things first, we have to wash our hands!

Ms. Kristta. She is one of Baker's teachers in Rm 3. We absolutely love her and she loves Baker. She'll be leaving his room at the end of November (right when Baker transitions to his new room) to join the Air Force. We will miss her and wish her the best of luck in her new venture!
Ms. Gloria. She is another one of Baker's teachers in Rm 3. She is so sweet and we really like her as well. Her oldest child is 20! We don't think she looks old enough to have a 20 yr old. Do you?
Waiting patiently
Baker and Aspyn ready to eat their snack - apple pie!
Let the fun begin!
I think we were more excited about the apple pie than he was!
Boston enjoying his apple pie
He started to really enjoy it.
We all got some apple goodness in our hair that day
Baker and Aspyn doing the same over the shoulder "look"
Here's the "face" I was talking about. He is doing this a lot and I'm thinking it is because that 6th tooth coming in.
Hello Dante! He's another friend of Baker's.
Meet Boston. He has a sweet cabbage patch face.
This is Baker's best friend, William.
Baker's other best friend, Aspyn. If you'll remember, they sat next to each other on a buggy ride back in the baby infant room when he was 3 months old. See below.
Seeing this picture reminded me how little he was!
Baker looking like the social butterfly that he is...babbling rather than eating. You can see a shot of the apple pie on my plate - it was homemade and was SO good.
adorable Kaynan. he isn't old enough to eat at the table with the rest of the babies so he had fun playing on his own.
Me and the boy! If you look closely he is doing the "face" in this picture too.

We finally bought Baker's big boy car seat! We got a Safety 1st convertible car seat on Friday and we got it installed but to make sure we had it in right we scheduled an appointment to take it by the Layton Fire Department.
We think he likes it.

He would rather have his keys instead of me teasing him with them. We had just woken him up from a nap so we could get some dinner. He really wasn't wanting to look at the camera so I had to entice him with his keys.
As if you couldn't tell he was sleepy. :P
Here we are on Saturday (10/23) morning getting the car seat checked. I'm glad we went as they gave us 3 pieces of a pool "noodle" to get the car seat to sit properly since we still have him rear facing and the seat had to sit back more to be leveled right. We will definitely be taking my car over when we get our second seat. The firemen were so nice and Baker loved all the big red trucks!!
