Lunchtime at the CDC

Gordie and I decided to meet up for lunch today. We didn't meet at my work or any restaurant for that matter. ..we had lunch with our big boy at daycare! If you sign up in the morning, they'll make you an adult plate of whatever the kids are having for lunch. They actually encourage you to come and spend time with your babies/kiddos. I never got a chance to do it before and I wanted to make it at least once for lunch time while he was in Room 3. He will be transitioning to another room once his first birthday comes around next month so we are cherishing the time he has left in this room. I really have grown to love the girls that take care of him in there. They really seem to care and love Baker like we do. Maybe not as much as we do but I can see they really enjoy him in their room which is great to hear. Baker was so happy to see us when we walked in the room. They had just had a fire drill so all 8 babies were split up 4 and 4 sitting in the 2 evacuation cribs. It was so cute! We saw them coming back in and Baker was holding onto the rails as if he was trying to keep steady from hitting or bumping into the baby in front of him. Oh he's so considerate! :P While we were there he was all smiles! Here's a few pictures from our lunch time visit. Don't forget to check out our youtube channel! I posted a video of him and the babies eating at the table!

Look Daddy, I can use a spoooooon!
Serious much? :)

Yummm, mommy's turn to feed me!

He wanted the orange slice I had in my hand instead. That cute little one in the bottom of the pic is Lena. She is newer to the room. She has the sweetest disposition but let me tell you, she does NOT like to be fed. She prefers to eat on her own at her own slow pace.
Happy boy while Mommy was watching One Tree Hill! He just is the best baby ever!
