Yes, we have great, awesome, and exciting news on Monday, 10/25. We got news that Gordie's MEB has been processed and that they will be medically discharging him for his ear issue. Hallelujah! This news has been long overdue and we are SO excited to be getting home. It will be a long month of November getting everything packed up but we are SO ready to be back with family! We met with the facilitator of the MEB's on Monday and Gordie signed some initial paperwork. Now we just wait for his official separation orders to be cut and then he can start out processing. I'll keep you posted on the details and timeline on when everything takes place. When we came out here, we looked at this move as an adventure. We were years younger, newlyweds, and just had a bunch of boxes, wedding gifts, and a few furniture items to call our own. Now almost 3 years later we have a baby, Miller, Freida, enough furniture to fill an entire house, baby toys galore, and tons of memories. We wouldn't have traded our time out here for anything. We started and built our family out here and now we can't wait to share it with the rest of our family and start a home where we both feel we belong...back in the Palmetto State!
