Gamecock Victory & Black Island Farms

The Gamecocks did it! We beat Alabama 35 to 21!!! It is the 6th time in NCAA history that a university has beaten #1 in Baseball, Basketball, and Football all in one year! Woohoo. Let's just say we have one happy household tonight. :)

We took a trip after the victory this afternoon to Black Island Farms. The same place we went last year. However, they didn't have any apple cider this year which majorly disappoint me but I got over it quickly. I have been drinking apple cider at home anyway. I drank a lot of hot apple cider last year when I was pregnant and have kept drinking it since. It is a great way to get some Vitamin C and drink something hot on a cool morning or evening. I know it helped get me by some early mornings when Baker was first born. The hayride out to the pumpkin patch was fun, as usual. Baker really enjoyed looking around and internalizing all the people, sites, and things he could see. We really have one observant baby. He didn't crack a smile or smirk until we had already picked our pumpkins and then got to the end of our hayride. He then started to squeal. I told him that he was a little late since the ride was over! Here are a few pictures from our outing.

First things first, gotta put on the jacket!
Daddy (sporting his garnet!) & Baker. Ready for their hayride.

Family Shot. Baker was distracted by some birds. Ha!

Our boy.
Baker picked this pumpkin.
He's sitting on it - staking his claim.
Yes Mama...I want this one.
Well I don't know that one over there looks nice.
My Pumpkin
Waiting on Daddy to get our pumpkins in the car so we can walk around.
Baker liked this pumpkin but we didn't get it. We opted for the 3 for $1.00 baby pumpkins for him.
Like this one.
Inspecting one of his pumpkins.
He likes it. You can't see it but his shirt says, "The Great Pumpkin is Coming". It is a Peanuts shirt from Old Navy and is way cute!
