Playdate with Christoper

Our friends down the street had date night and we gladly watched their almost 14 month old for them last night! David just got back from a tech school for his new job and was gone for what I remember almost 5 weeks so we thought they could use a night to themselves. I was really looking forward to Christopher and Baker playing together but that didn't happen! Baker fell asleep in the car on the way home from daycare and went straight to his crib. Christopher and I played, ate, and then he was down to sleep right after his diaper change at 715PM. He was out like 3 strikes! Then Baker woke up. So conveniently, I fed and changed Baker and then we played while Christopher slept. I was really hoping for a photo with them both together but one of them was asleep when the other was awake. We are getting together for Halloween this weekend so we'll get some good pictures then. We can't wait til next time and maybe then Baker will be awake! Here are some pictures of our evening:

He is an EXPERT page turner and goes straight for the "feely" parts of the book with different textures and knows just where to go in his books to make it make noise.

He was throwin' a page down. :)

The one and only smile or should I say smirk I could get from him the entire time. He is very careful who he smiles to!

We were imagining we were chefs and he actually put the spoon in the bowl and moved it in a circular motion imitating stirring. He is one smart boy and I'm not so intelligent since I put his bib on backwards! Ooops!
