Horrible Mother and Road Trip Day #1

Yes, I'm talking about me. In the complete craziness yesterday, we forgot Miller's 3rd birthday. How horrible is that? He was our first baby! We will celebrate once we get home.

We got a late start today. Gordie had a dentist appt that took nearly 2 hours and then we loaded up, checked out of the hotel, and hit the road. First stop was to get our truck weighed. We didn't come back within 24 hrs (which we weren't schooled on this the first time so we had to pay full price again versus just a dollar to reweigh. after we did that, we hit the road at noon. We only made 2 stops during our almost 8 hour drive. Baker did so well but near the end we could tell that he'd prefer to be out of his seat. We made it all the way to Wellington, Colorado. Tomorrow we plan to stop in Amarillo TX.
