Cooking Dinner & Lunch Outings to see Daddy!

Last night Baker helped me cook dinner and make rice krispie treats while Gordie was at the gym and getting his haircut. He sat in his bouncer on the counter in the kitchen and watched as I cooked away. When it came time to make the rice krispie treats, he was intently watching me mix everything right next to him. So I thought it was an opportune time to take a picture of him with my wooden spoon! He loves to watch me cook so hopefully he'll become one good cook when he gets older too! This cute onesie is from his Auntie E in Charlotte who we cannot wait to see when we go home!! He is our little peanut!
Chef Baker
This week since Gordie has been on dayshift, Baker and I have been taking him his lunch! It gives us a chance to get out of the house without really having to do much and it also gives us a chance to see Gordie! I know he looks forward to this part of the day as well so he can escape work for a few minutes and visit with us. Here are a few pictures of Baker that I took today when we got home. I really enjoy dressing him up these days! For weeks, it was easiest to put him in onsies but now he is getting used to me putting things over his head and putting on pants so he is making the "getting dressed" process a little easier. In these pictures, he is wearing a cute "You Rock" onesie we got from Brittan, Justin, & Madi, the fleece vest and pants are part of an outfit that my mom or his grandma gave him. I didn't want him to get too hot in the carseat in the car but I knew the short sleeve onesie wasn't going to be warm enough. I think he looks pretty handsome!!
He gave me a little grin in this one.
Don't worry, this was when we got home. He was safely strapped in when we were in the car. :)
He still loves his mr. soothie
