Grandparents Visit & First Bath

Both of our parents came to visit at the beginning of December. It was SO wonderful having them here. We really had a great time as we miss them dearly living so far away. They made us such GOOD home cooked meals for us while they were here that we thoroughly enjoyed. So good that Gordie and I still talk about those wonderful meals our moms made. Here are a few pictures to highlight. As you can see, they all have gleaming smiles. I'd say they all are happy grandparents! We already know they are the best parents we could have ever asked for and I know Baker will feel the same way about them as his grandparents!

Thank you again for all that you guys did while you were here for Baker. He loves his onesies and clothes! :)

My parents!

Gordie's Parents!

We waited to give Baker his first real bath while they were here. He wasn't really fond of the sponge baths as he got cold too quickly. However, his first real bath was a far cry from his sponge baths. He really loved it and didn't cry at all. I was really surprised as I thought he was going to cry his eyes out but he really was happy in the water. Like Big G said, he probably felt "at home" in the water. :) It was fun getting him cleaned up and smelling so good. I'll have to upload the video documenting this as soon as Gordie teaches me! Later in December during my dad's visit, him and I gave Baker a bath while Gordie was napping (he was on nightshift) and Baker cried his lungs out from start to finish. We weren't sure if he just didn't want a bath or if he just didn't want us bathing him! We shall see how much he likes bathing in the months to come!
