Lazy Day!

Today was a lazy day. It snowed so we stayed in and relaxed...or well Baker did! I cleaned the house which meant lots of laundry, ironing, dishes, and somewhere in between watched some TV! Miller and Baker had a good time today just being lazy on the couch. Here are some cute pictures of them together.

We have found that when Baker drinks his ba ba's he curls up both his big toes. I'm not sure why he would do this but we thought it was pretty cute and also a little odd so I thought I'd get a picture of this to show him when he gets older! :)

We have taken out the bassinet (newborn napper) from Baker's Pack n Play. He has been sleeping in the bassinet in our room since he came home from the hospital. It is hard to believe that he is too big to sleep in it already! I noticed last night that his little feet were hitting the bottom of it and his head was all the way at the top. Sometimes he sleeps bunched up and other times he likes to have his legs straight out. I figured it wasn't that comfortable for him so I took it out and now he just sleeps on the bottom of the Pack n Play "mattress". He took a nap on it today so we could test it out and he LOVED it. :) I guess we'll test out his crib next week. I think he'll really like it! He doesn't seem to mind new things which is a good thing! I know it will probably take me some getting used to having him in a different room than in with us. Sometimes if I wake up at night, it's always comforting to hear his little cooing or noises that he makes which ensures me he is "A OK". With him being in his room in his crib, I won't exactly have that luxury except through a monitor but I'll adjust!

Here is a video clip from earlier this afternoon. Baker absolutely loves tummy time on his Baby Einstein play gym so I thought I would try a different version of tummy time on his Boppy pillow. I just love his squealing and noises he makes!

My Monkeys are back!

So Baker has this thing for the monkey ear on one of his carseat strap covers. We were eating dinner at Chili's tonight and Gordie saw him start to gum on it so we captured a short video of it for you to see. Not to worry, this is AFTER we fed him his full bottle so I guess he was making up for mama forgetting his Mr. Soothie. Oops! :)
