This week has been a good one. We kept Baker home on Monday as a precaution. The CDC doesn't allow you to bring them back once they leave with a fever until the baby is fever free for 24 hours. I gave him some tylenol early Sunday morning so I felt like keeping him home one more day would be good so we could monitor his temperature. He was fine and had no issues. Gordie is still on swing shift so he dropped him off at my work around 2PM and he stayed with me until I left work. That meant he joined in on our bi weekly staff meeting at 3PM. Everyone said Baker was chairing the meeting. However, I had to adjorn the meeting since he fell asleep. I told everyone that they must have been too boring. :)
The rest of the week was pretty decent. I dropped him off at daycare in the morning so Gordie could get some extra rest and sleep in. That meant I had to get up a little earlier and get ready a little quicker but that's OK! I knew Baker loved getting there early to spend more time with Miss Sarah. I'll have to get a picture of them two together so you can see his favorite teacher. We'll definitely have to do something for the ladies in there whenever he moves up to the next room. They take such good care of him and it is really obvious as he just lights up everytime we walk in.
We were given the green light to give Baker rice cereal! We are going to give it to him on Saturday so Gordie is here to see him eat it. Of course we will capture it on video so I'll have to post it soon. :)
39 days til vacation in SC! WOOHOO :) We are just so excited.
