This morning Baker's fever was gone, YAY! I gave him some Tylenol at 10AM just because he was gumming everything in sight. We still don't have a tooth yet though. I haven't given him any medicine since and we are still fever free! Since he was feeling alright we decided to go to Ogden to eat at a new wing place that a co-worker told me about. Utah doesn't know how to do wings so we thought we'd see if this new place was any good. It is called Wing Nutz and while it was a small restaurant, it was really good! The wings were actually very good and their buffalo chips while they were cut more like potato chips with the ridges they were very similar to raw fries back at home. Looks like we have a wing place in town to satisfy our urges for wings while we are here in Utah.
After we ate, we decided to head down to SLC to go to the Hatch Family Chocolate Store. If you ever watch TLC you should know about the new show called "Little Chocolatiers". It just premiered last Tuesday and we just found out that their store is in downtown Salt Lake! We headed down that way and the store was packed! I'd be interested to know how much the show has boosted their revenue. We got some chocolate covered dried pears and strawberries. They were really good! Even Gordie liked it and he doesn't like sweets not to mention chocolate. We even got to see the owners (husband and wife) that the show focuses on. We got to talk to the husband while we were at the register. He seemed really down to earth just like you and me! I don't think the fame & camera has changed him as much as it did Kate Gosselin. LOL :)
Baker did something so perfect today. We were in my car on the way home and he was just crying. He was wiping his eyes so I knew he just was tired and in need of a nap. I gave him his paci as I figured he would want it so it would help him fall asleep. He dropped it out of his mouth right away so I grabbed it and gave it back to him. This time I handed it to him and he grabbed the handle of the paci with his left hand. He kept staring at it examining it and you could just see the wheels turning in his mind thinking how in the world he would get the paci from where it was to in his mouth. Gordie and I were both in awe of what he was doing in the backseat. We have a mirror in the back so we could see his every move! He finally looked at it and moved it around enough and got it right into his mouth, he finally did it! He held onto the paci for a few minutes and then let go. He was so proud of himself that he smiled and then closed his eyes and went to sleep. We were just smiling, laughing, and thinking to ourselves that it's those moments that just make us realize what a little miracle he really is. We just love him SO much!

Happy boy. He just was fed & changed in my car after we ate lunch. Yep, we utilized my passenger seat as a changing table again. It works like a charm!

Burping after his bottle. He was really into staring at the movie theater across the street. I think it is because it has a lot of colored flashing lights. :)

Here's our sweet sleeping baby this morning once our power came back on. He just LOVES to sleep & nap in his crib. We made a good choice with his bedding as it totally fits him and I find him a lot of times staring at the animals on the bumpers and cooing to them. I suppose he is saying something but we just don't understand him yet. I think this is a sign that he likes animals so we'll have to visit the zoo sometime soon. Since we'll be home in late May I think we'll have to pay Riverbanks Zoo a visit!!
