29 weeks & counting!

This past weekend we took Miller to Pineview Reservoir which is about 20 minutes north through the Ogden Canyon. Miller went once last year and loved it! We hadn't been able to get him there all summer as one thing or another would always come up so we went on Saturday while it was still warm to give him a little treat. He didn't remember the water at first as he looked at his ball we threw in the water and was trying to decide how he was going to get it out. The waves in the water from passing boats were pushing it closer to shore at first but then started taking it further out and he was getting more angry! It didn't take but a few minutes for him to get frustrated and start stepping into the water slowly as if he were walking on broken glass. He then remembered what to do and jumped right in and swam to the ball. Only one time did daddy have to swim out to get his ball because he threw it out too far. Miller stayed in the water closer to the shore until he got it and then couldn't wait to get the ball back. The key to keeping his attention was a squeaking decoy tennis ball! Miller is notorious for fetching the ball but NEVER giving it back. Having the extra ball that made noises made him come to shore and drop his other ball in time for us to throw it again for him. Otherwise, we wouldn't ever have been able to throw it more than once to him. He isn't protective over his tennis balls...he just loves to play "keep away" :)

The key to this trip was having a ball that was smaller than a regular tennis ball. He had a hard time grabbing a regular sized tennis ball in the water last time and the balls we had this time were slightly smaller and since they made noise they were softer so it was easier for him to grab in the water. I have some cute pictures and a video I need to post but they are on the video camera and only Gordie knows how to get those off so I'll post them this week when he can transfer them to the computer.

Well, I am feeling the 3rd trimester discomforts but overall feeling great! My feet were killing me on Sunday so I treated myself to a pedicure at the mall. It was definitely worth it as sitting in that massage chair was SO wonderful! We also stopped by our friends down the street to see Baby Christopher so we could give him his gift. Zita and David are baby Christopher's parents and they both work with Gordie. He was born almost a month ago so we hadn't seen him much since the hospital so we had to pay him a visit. He was just as cute as we remembered him but growing and doing so many things already! She is already ready for another one! I don't think that will be the case with us 3 weeks out but she looked great! She only had 6 more lbs to lose before she was back at her pre pregnancy weight. Go Zita! :) I hope its that easy for me too! They have offered to take care of Miller and Freida when Baby Baker is born so we are so grateful to have such wonderful friends so close by!
Enjoy the recent pictures. As you can see, my stomach is looking more big, wide, and round by the day. :) We just can't wait to meet the little guy!

Much Love!
